NASA XR Operations Support System (XOSS)

 

Collaboration with NASA Advanced Operations Concept Lab to develop the XR Operations Support System (XOSS) , a real-time simulation. The project supports NASA’s CHAPEA and a 1-year simulation at NASA Johnson Space Center where astronauts conduct mission scenarios as they would on the Moon and Mars.

 

Epic Games Fortnite/European Space Agency Lunar Horizons

 

A collaboration with the European Space Agency, Epic Games, Hassell Studio and TeamPWR to develop a futuristic mission to the Moon in the multiplayer video game Fortnite. Using Unreal Engine for Fortnite, the game lets players explore, gather resources, build, and upgrade their lunar settlement on the South Pole of the Moon in a future international mission.

 
 

Collaboration with NASA Advanced Operations Concept Lab and Goddard Spaceflight Center SHyRE group on the development of a multi-user XR Lunar training environment based on millimeter precision LIDAR and Photogrammetry data as well as full-body motion capture and physical XR tooling.

 

NASA SHyRE Hawaii

 

Development of collaboration with NASA Hybrid Reality Lab and Goddard Spaceflight Center SHyRE group on the development of XR lunar analogue training environment created using photogrammetry of Hawaii’s Kilauea 1974 lava flows. Project used as testbed for rapid prototyping of relevant process activities.

 

Oceans Through Time

 

An educational XR journey through 4.5 billion years in time and into the future to discover the evolution of life on Earth and the origin of its oceans. A collaboration with eco-innovation group Parley for the Oceans.

 

A four-year partnership with NASA to develop a vision for a human mission to Mars in the year 2030. Consolidating research from leading habitation and exploration teams to develop a VR simulation for public outreach and concept development. In partnership with leading real-time graphics innovation at Nvidia and FMG Labs.

 

HP/Nvidia/ Mars Home Planet

A partnership with HP, Nvidia, Fusion, Autodesk, Unreal, and Technicolor to envision life of 1 million people on Mars. Developed open source Mars environment based on Mawrth Vallis for over 90,000 creators in 150 countries.
